PLANETRY RING TYPEFACE
The brief required an experimental typeface design of a full alphabet and a A3 poster design incorporating the designed typeface responding to the chosen quote. In response to the brief I based my typeface of the planet rings linking my experimental typeface to the theme of the book that the quote is from whilst responding to the meaning of the quote. The poster design imitates a planet in space linking to the quotes meaning/book theme.
Typography Layout and Poster Composition:
Inspired by the meaning of the quote which is the imperfections of the universe has resulted in the world as we know it today, my typeface is based off elements of the universe as well as the composition of my poster.
